Six

The nights are getting colder now, the air is getting crisp,

I first tasted the universe on a night like this,

A box of wine, and I’ll abide, in the hunger in her eyes

In place where the tree of good and evil, still resides

Homecoming, Homecoming

I’m not like other girls; just give me your bad self

And a place for us to make a stand and I can move the world

Lift the valley from the floor, honey; I’ll turn to the sky

They’ll say that it’s a miracle and you’ll know damn well they’re right,

damn well they’re right

Homecoming, homecoming.

Thanks, the numbered posts are actually the prologue to the ‘chapters’ or posts. They tie into the story. This is from a song by Josh Ritter called ‘homecoming’ and the biblical references to Adam and Eve and death, fit with the post ‘Jump’.

So the numbered post precedes the Jump story?

Yes. This blog is a way to get my form back. My agent recommend this because my manuscript needs more polishing and I’ve been out of practice for about five years.
